It is organised by the Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH), and the Autumn 2026 edition opens in a few days. What you will find at the fair
The 16 sectors cover almost everything a home and lifestyle buyer looks for: gifts and premiums, interiors, furniture, fashion jewellery, bags and accessories, lamps and lighting, outdoor and garden, aroma and spa, Christmas and festive decor, kitchen and dinnerware, bathroom accessories, eco-friendly products, kids and babies, home decor and accents, home furnishing with carpets and rugs, and textiles and linens.
For buyers of Indian craft this means you can compare hand block printed textiles, woodware, ceramics, metalware and festive decor from many regions under one roof in a single week.
How overseas buyers get in
Entry is for trade visitors only. As of 30 September 2026 the official registration page shows that online pre-registration has closed, and visitor badges are issued at the registration counters at the venue after a check of your business credentials. Carry your business card and company details. The official FAQ also lists the support EPCH offers overseas buyers:
Visa recommendation letters issued by EPCH. Send your passport and travel details to visitors@ihgfdelhifair.in.
Partner hotels at negotiated rates, starting from about USD 40 per night for a double room with breakfast and Wi-Fi.
Transfers for pre-registered buyers from Delhi airport to the hotel, and from the hotel to the venue.
For the Spring 2027 edition, register and apply for your visa letter early. A business visa takes time, and last-minute requests are hard to process.
Tips to get more from five days
Shortlist sectors before you land. 18 halls is a lot of walking. Mark the halls that match your range and leave time for a second visit to the booths you liked.
Carry your specification sheet. Sizes, colourways, packaging and target price points help suppliers give a real quote instead of a list price.
Ask about MOQ and sampling on day one. Minimum order quantities vary by craft. Hand block printed textiles often start around 500 pieces per design, while woodware and ceramics can be lower.
Check compliance early. If you sell into the EU, ask about azo-free dyes for textiles and about wood traceability for wooden goods under the EU Deforestation Regulation.
Plan a follow-up week. Many buyers use the days after the fair to visit production clusters around Jaipur, Moradabad or Saharanpur.
